This page outlines what we collect when you search domains, how cookies and analytics are used, and the choices you have over your data.

Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to run domain checks, saved lists, and security safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

Domain lookups and RDAP responses cached in Upstash Redis (domain, status, HTTP code, error message, checkedAt timestamp, and RDAP metadata for taken domains) with TTLs of ~24h for taken, ~6h for available, and ~1h for errors.
Account and contact details you provide via Supabase Auth or support (email, session identifiers) plus the domains and notes you save in lists.
Device and usage data such as IP address, browser/OS, pages viewed, timestamps, referrers, feature usage, and error diagnostics to protect the service and understand performance.
Cookies and local storage: essential cookies/session data for authentication, local caches for recent searches, and optional analytics cookies; you can adjust browser settings, though some features may break without necessary cookies.

We use data solely to provide and protect buscadominios; no selling or unrelated advertising.

Deliver availability results, bulk responses, and saved lists, serving cached RDAP data to reduce latency and load on NIC Argentina.
Maintain security, detect fraud or abuse, enforce pacing and rate limits, and comply with legal obligations.
Improve product quality and relevance (trending domains, UX updates) using aggregated metrics and usage insights.
Provide support and communicate about your account or product changes; marketing messages are optional and respect opt-outs.

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above.

Cache entries expire automatically (~24h taken, ~6h available, ~1h errors); local caches remain in your browser until you clear them.
Saved lists and account details remain until you delete them or request account deletion; support conversations are retained as needed for follow-up.
Operational logs and analytics are rotated periodically; deletion requests are honored where legally allowed.

We do not sell personal information. Sharing is limited to service providers or legal requirements.

Infrastructure processors: Upstash (Redis cache), Supabase (authentication and Postgres storage), and Vercel (hosting and analytics) with access limited to operating the service.
RDAP lookups are sent to NIC Argentina to return the domain status you requested.
Business operations: aggregated or de-identified insights may be shared internally to improve reliability and performance.
Legal and compliance: we may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, or respond to security events.

We apply encryption, access controls, and least-privilege practices.

Traffic uses HTTPS; secrets for Redis, Supabase, and other providers stay on the server side.
Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel; Supabase RLS enforces per-user access on saved lists in the `buscadominios` schema.
Rate limits, monitoring, and caching protect against abuse and reduce exposure of upstream services.

You control cookies, saved data, and how we contact you.

You can use the site without signing in for minimal retention; adjust cookies in your browser (authentication may not work without necessary cookies).
If you sign in, delete saved lists in the app or email us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account data; we will verify your identity.
Unsubscribe from non-essential emails via provided links or by contacting us; reach out with privacy questions or objections.
